This is awesome. I like how the ribs are plant-like... actually, I like the fact that each bone seems to have its own flavour or character.
For some reason, I also like how some of the bones aren't actually connected.

Oh yeah, thanks, actually I was studying victorian floral print wallpaper designs when I drew this and kind of played off of how ornate all of the bones in a skeleton are, so I guess "plant like" is pretty acurate.

What's the sketch in the background? The top-left part looks a skeletal hand emerging from the ground.

Also, I don't want this to sound like I'm plugging my own work or something, but for a while, I've been wanting people to draw an illustration for a poem that I wrote. Someone did something, but it wasn't really that great. But looking at this, I realised that a skeleton or skull of some kind might fit pretty well. You'd think it'd be kind of obvious, given what my poem is about, but it never occurred to me before. If you do want to read the poem, it's on my DA; it's entitled "Eternal Requiem". But yeah, don't read it if you don't feel like it. Either way, thanks for the sort-of-inspiration.
